Say goodbye to grubs for good.
Grub Control
We offer both preventative and curative grub control applications to help protect your lawn from this damaging insect. The application, once watered in, is taken up by the roots of the grass plants which will then kill the grubs as they feed on your lawn.
- There are many different beetles that lay the eggs that eventually become grubs that can damage your lawn but in general the main culprit comes from the Japanese beetle.
- Grubs typically feed early and late in the summer season.
- Preventative applications are done in late June through July and are much more effective than Curative Applications.
- However, if grub problems do pop up during the season we do offer a Curative Application for a quick fix.
- Once a grub application is applied it does need to be watered in to take effect.
- Indications of having grubs in your lawn can be patches of dead grass that peel up easily. Another sign would be predators such as, skunks, raccoons, crows, and others.
NOTE:
It is a common misconception that the presence of moles means that you have a grub problem in your lawn. While moles do feed on grubs if they are present, their main food source is earthworms. Therefore, a grub control application does not work to eliminate a mole problem. If you are experiencing mole damage we have a couple of options to help with that when added to a lawn application program.
